Philip K. Dick is a literary juggernaut in the world of Science Fiction and has been for many years. There have long been rumours that some of his most popular short stories would be collected for TV but news on that has been quiet for some time. It does look like the project still has a flickering flame however as Bryan Cranston (best known for playing Walter White in Breaking Bad) has signed on to star within the series and as one of the handful of Executive Producers on the project.

Other producing talent confirmed are Ronald Moore (Battlestar Galactica), Isa Dick Hackett (The Adjustment Bureau) and Michael Dinner (Justified). It is not known whether Cranston will play one or multiple characters throughout the series but he will most certainly be acting as well as producing.

The series will be entitled Electric Dreams: The World of Philip K. Dick and is planned to be a ten part anthology work. No news yet on release date or even filming but knowing the project is moving along should reassure fans of the talented writer.
